Spring 2017 Upcoming Dates – please mark in your calendar
  • April 3 – 10 – Mark Tree location & call 811 
  • April 15 – 20  – Dig a hole for the tree(s). Place soil on a tarp and cover
  • April 15 – 20  – Aquire mulch for your tree and ensure you have a water source
  • April 20  – Tree delivery; late afternoon. Identify a shaded spot to keep the tree
  • April 20 – 22 – Plant tree(s)


This spring 23 Ambler residents will be planting 33 trees

Small (under 30’)

  • Acer griseum (Paperbark maple) view
  • Malus ‘Adirondack’ (White-flowering Crabapple) view
  • Amelanchier x grandifolia ‘Princess Diana’ (Princess Diana Downy Serviceberry)** view

Medium (30 to 50’)

  • Acer rubrum ‘Redpointe’ (Redpointe Red Maple) view
  • Cladrastis kentukea (Yellowwood)** view
  • Gleditsia t.i. ‘Imperial’ (Imperial Honeylocust)** view

Large (over 50’)

  • Catalpa speciosa (Northern Catalpa)** view
